Brno - Soběšice 2015

V poslednú Septembrovú sobotu sa konala výstava a jazda do vrchu Brno - Soběšice. Tento závod má tradíciu už od roku 1924. Pravidelne sa stretávame v areáli ústavu sociálnej starostlivosti pre telesne postihnutú mládež Centrum Kociánka. Usporiadateľom tohto závodu je Veterán Automoto Club Brno. Uzatvorená trať má približne 3 km a výškové prevýšenie zhruba 160 metrov. Jedná sa o prvý medzinárodný závod na území mesta Brna, ktorý začal dlhú tradíciu motoristických závodov a priniesol mestu skvelé meno po celom svete.

On a last Saturday of September an exhibition and a uphill race Brno – Soběšice took place. This race became a tradition since 1924. We meet regulary in premises of the Institute of social care for physicaly handicapped youtch in Kociánca centre. It is organized by Veterán Automoto Club Brno. The closed track has around 3 kilometers with an elevation of cca 160 meters. It is originally the first international race in Brno city, which started a long tradition of motor racing and brought the town its worldwide reputation.

Od roku 1999 sa tento závod jazdí  ako spomienková jazda historických vozidiel. Pre obrovský záujem museli organizátori obmedziť štartovné pole jazdcov rokom výroby, no aj tak sa tu pravidelne zíde približne 350 účastníkov na fantastických strojoch rôznych značiek. Pravidelne najpočetnejšou  značkou je Ariel. Pre tento rok sa organizátorom  prihlásilo 35 Arielov vyrobených v rokoch 1927-54. No v tesnom závese sa nám do popredia derú stroje Norton s tohtoročným počtom 27 kusov.

From 1999 this race is being ridden as a memorial ride of historical vehicles. Due to a great interest the organizers had to limit the number of riders by restricting the production date of the vehicles, nevertheless every year cca 350 racers on their fantastic machines of various brands come over to take a part in the race. Regularly the Ariel motorcycles come in the most numbers. For this year 35 Ariels made within 1927 to 1954 applied. But also Nortons are catching up with this years 27 motorcycles in the race.

Najstarším automobilom bol Autocar model E 10 hp z roku 1902. Každoročne sa na Soběšiciach objavia skvosty aké sa človeku nepodarí vidieť ani v múzeách. Účastníci z Čiech, Slovenska, Rakúska či Nemecka privezú na ukážku vždy to najlepšie zo svojich zbierok. Nebýva núdza o vozy Tatra, Z, Bugatti či Aero. V tomto roku sa opäť našlo zopár technických vychytávok, ako napríklad vozidlo Omega s rúrkovým chladičom a so špeciálnym prenosom sily z pohonnej jednotky na nápravu.

The oldest automobile of the show was the Autocar model E 10 HP from 1902. Every year jewels like these that you cannot even see in museums show up in Soběšice. The attendants from Czechia, Slovakia, Austria or Germany always bring the best from their collections. The vehicles like Tatra, Z, Bugatti or Aero are here to see. Even this year some technical wonders arrived to the show. For example a car named Omega with a tube type cooler and with an unusual power transmission from the engine to the vehicle´s axle.

Mimochodom, jedná sa o prvý továrenský automobil vyrobený  Československou zbrojovkou v Brne v roku 1923. Či množstvo závodných strojov značiek zvučných mien. V tomto ročníku sa organizátori rozhodli pre významnú zmenu v pravidlách súťaže a meranie času jednotlivých účastníkov bolo zrušené. Stále sa jedná o závod na uzavretej trati, stále je možné si zazávodiť s tým svojim oponentom.

By the way it is the first factory made automobile manufactured by Československá zbrojovka (Czechoslovak armament factory) in Brno in 1923. But also many other race vehicles of renowned brands. This year the organizers decided for a significant changes in the race rules and the individual time keeping was canceled. The race still takes place on the closed track and it is possible to race with the opponents.

Organizátori ale zrušili porovnávanie si časov jednotlivých jázd. Umožnili však účastníkom zoradiť sa na štarte v malých skupinkách a štartovať naraz, čo v nemalej miere využívali jazdci túžiaci po priamej konfrontácii. Určite to bol obrovský zážitok pre nekonečné zástupy divákov lemujúce všetky zákruty trate.

Organizers canceled the option to compare the times from individual rides. On the other hand they allowed the attendats to gather in small groups at the start line and start together. This was particulary famous among riders who were longing for a direct confrontation during the race. It sure was a great experience for the endless crowds spectators along all curves of the track.

No, a my ostatní sme si užívali jazdu a takpovediac pózovali pre množstvo fotografov. Dobové kostýmy bolo vidieť na každom staršom stroji. Nádherné ženy v bohato zdobených róbach, doprevádzali skupinky prvo republikových policajtov či ušmudlaných závodníkov.

And the rest of us, we just enjoyed the ride „striking poses“ for the photographers. The riders could be seen in historical costumes. Beautiful women dressed in fancy robes accompanied by first republic policemen or racers covered with dust and oil.

Skvelá sobota a pastva pre oči. Každoročne sa teším na tento závod a vždy ma tu prekvapí niečo nové a krásne. Zakaždým  tu stretnem skvelých ľudí a z pohodovej atmosféry načerpám ďalšiu silu do života. Ďakujem vám za tento závod a už sa teším na skvelý ročník 2016.

A fantastic Saturday, what a feast for our eyes. Every year I look forward to this race and I get surprised by something new and beautiful everytime I come over. I always meet great people here and the atmosphere just pumps new energy to my veins. Thank you for this race and I already look forward to the great 2016 race.
